Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
Performed by myplaice productions
(written by Tom Stoppard)
Upstairs at Milgi Lounge
Saturday 16th October, 7.30pm
Myplaice Productions is a small group of actors who are all
training to teach secondary school pupils what real acting is
about. As we talk the talk in the world of schools, we thought
we’d walk the walk as actors and create a small production
company…
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead is a great script,
based around the life of two rather haphazard fellows who find
themselves tossed and turned by every wind (and coin throw)
and end up not really knowing what is ever going on around
them. It is a play which takes place in the wings of Hamlet,
and finds both humour and poignancy in the situation of the
ill-fated attendant lords.
