A film of Roath from the viewpoint of children and young people.
Snapshot Roath is inviting each school in Roath to submit 6 entries of digital photographs for inclusion in the film ‘My Roath’ to be screened at The Gate at 6pm on Sunday 17th October as part of the Made in Roath festival 2010.
How will it work?
• The themes/ideas for the still photos will be released to the schools on Friday September 23rd.
• A fortnight later, on October 8th, Snapshot Roath will arrange to visit the schools to collect the photos and permission slips.
• Each entry may be accompanied by up to 50 words.
• Snapshot Roath will edit the film ready for the screening.
• Photographers, friends and family as well as the Made in Roath festival-goers will come to see the film at The Gate.
And afterwards?
DVDs can be ordered for £2.50.
It will be uploaded for viewing on the internet. (Consent forms will be crucial.)
Hopefully, it will be good enough to go on the Big Screen in town, as last year’s Snapshot Roath did.
